Due to hail damage last year (2024) we contracted Brookens to replace the roof on our house and unattached garage. The work they did was outstanding. We contracted Brookens because they replaced the roofs on our Church and Day Care building and on our School and Church building. Their work there was just amazing. Key points to call out include: Property inspection & Sales Process - Jake wrote up our claim with a very detailed inspection report that got our claim approved with State Farm. The software he used to input our claim and display a rendering of our home during the shingle selection process greatly attributed to our decision to go with Brookens. Project Management - Phil and his crew did a phenomenal job on our installation of our new roof and gutters. Job complete in two days; quality workmanship, on-time commitments, excellent communication and a dedicated crew who showed they cared about our home. Crew lead Miguel was exceptional. He found and repaired a chimney leak that three other previous contractors were unable to resolve. I would highly recommend Brookens for your next project!

After a major hailstorm hit our area in April, our neighborhood (like many others) was flooded with roofing contractors, both local and out-of-town. It was overwhelming trying to figure out who to trust. After a few local inspections, it became clear that Brookens stood head and shoulders above the rest. From the first interaction with Darren during the inspection and sales process, I could tell this local Dane County company was different. Brookens far exceeded my expectations. I’m very detail-oriented (a bit OCD), and I’ve been absolutely thrilled with the service I’ve received. Everyone I interacted with—from Darren to Megan in the office, who helped coordinate everything, to Cody the on-site project manager—was professional, responsive, and incredibly helpful. Cody was there every step of the way during installation, always available to answer questions and provide updates. Even one of the owners came by to personally check in on the project, which speaks volumes about their commitment to quality and customer satisfaction. The crew led by Miguel did outstanding work on the roof. They went above and beyond during the tear-off process, taking extra care to protect windows and my deck, and were meticulous about cleaning up nails and debris throughout the day. I work from home and checked in periodically—every time, I was impressed. Before the install, I pointed out a few problem areas with water runoff, and the team took the time to mitigate and reroute water flow to improve drainage. The gutter installation, handled by Kasey and his team, was also flawless. I made it clear from the beginning to them that I wanted a company that not only does quality work but stands behind it. Brookens has lived up to that and more. Their customer service is outstanding, and they truly put the homeowner first. I’ve already recommended them to several neighbors and friends, and will continue to do so.
